Hadrian, 117-138. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 32 mm, 23.17 g, 12 h), Rome, circa 129-130. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Laureate head of Hadrian to right. Rev. FELICITATI AVG / COS III P P / S - C Galley to left over waves, with steerman and six rowers; at stern, cabin and acrostolium, at prow, mast slanted forward. BMC 1396 var. (five rowers). Cohen 657. RIC 1285. A very attractive example with a lovely reverse. Minor traces of corrosion, otherwise, good very fine.
